1. About the service

Weather Rooms is a free clock and scene display service operated by Reed Craft. No registration is required. You can check the time in selected cities and change the scene, weather effects, and time of day.

The scenes are illustrations, not actual views or live video of the selected city.

2. Time and weather information

The clock uses your device’s date and time and the time zone of the selected city. Device settings or browser behavior may cause the display to be inaccurate or delayed.

Weather information is based on regional forecasts from MET Norway, not real-time observations. Forecasts are retrieved on initial load and city selection, and refreshed according to their expiry. While loading or unavailable, temperatures are hidden and the scene is illustrative. Manual previews can differ from actual forecasts. Sunrise and sunset are approximate calculations using the selected city’s date and coordinates.

For safety decisions, disaster preparedness, travel planning, or other situations requiring accurate time or weather information, consult official agencies or specialist sources.

3. Using the service

Do not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, send excessive requests beyond normal use, infringe the rights of others, or violate applicable law.

Some features, including rendering, may be unavailable depending on your browser, device, or connection.

4. Content and rights

Rights in the interface, illustrations, text, software, and other content belong to the operator or their respective rights holders. Do not use them without permission beyond the scope allowed by law.

Forecast data is provided by MET Norway under CC BY 4.0. Weather categories are simplified and used in our own scene effects. External data remains subject to its respective license.

5. Changes and interruptions

Features may change, be temporarily interrupted, or be discontinued due to maintenance, failures, external data availability, or other operational circumstances. Where reasonably possible, significant changes will be announced within the service.

6. Scope of responsibility

The operator takes reasonable care in providing the service but does not guarantee operation in every environment, complete or accurate information, or continuous availability.

These terms do not exclude liability for the operator’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence, exclude liability that cannot be excluded under the Japanese Consumer Contract Act or other applicable laws, or limit rights protected by those laws.

7. Information handling and changes to these terms

Changes to these terms will be published on this page with an updated date. For changes that significantly affect users, the changes and their effective date will be announced within the service in advance, in accordance with applicable law.
